Argentine-American Songwriter Hernán Savastano to Release Debut Album Mi Canción
Album Release Concert – November 7, 2025 at Snowgrass Lodge, Leavenworth, WA
LEAVENWORTH, WA – October 20, 2025 – Bring Forth announces the release of Mi Canción, the debut album from Leavenworth-based, Argentine-American singer-songwriter Hernán Savastano, available everywhere on November 7, 2025. That evening, Hernán will celebrate the release with a live concert at Snowgrass Lodge in Leavenworth, Washington. The event is open to the public, with limited seating.
Mi Canción (“My Song”) traces Hernán’s personal and spiritual journey through healing, loss, and rediscovery. Written in both English and Spanish, the album reflects his connection to nature, family, and his Argentine roots. The songs turn honest life experiences into art, offering a sense of belonging, reflection, and gratitude.
“Mi Canción is about remembering where we come from,” Hernán says. “It’s about reconnecting with Mother Earth, with our ancestors, and with the parts of ourselves that long to sing.”
The record includes the singles “Stress of the Machinery,” a meditation on modern life’s pressures, and “Agua Sagrada,” Hernán’s first Spanish-language song—a prayer to the elements that helped him reclaim his native voice.
The album was produced by Benjamin Jay Thomas, whose multi-instrumental contributions helped shape the sound and atmosphere of the record. Mi Canción also features vocal performances from Nora B. Heath, Drew Youngspring, Bridget Welch, and Jon Sizemore on percussion. Together, this small community of artists created a cohesive and heartfelt sound that supports Hernán’s story of transformation.
Born in Buenos Aires and raised in the United States after his family fled political unrest, Hernán’s story spans continents and cultures. After early years in Seattle’s folk scene with the duo Sweetheart Army and later the band La Dulce Vida, his music has evolved into a deeply personal blend of folk, soul, and reflection. Mi Canción marks a new chapter—one rooted in authenticity, gratitude, and the healing power of song.
This release follows the October 10 debut of Flowers Will Grow by singer-songwriter Nora B. Heath (press statement here: https://bringforth.org/post/flowerswillgrow), making Mi Canción the second full-length album to emerge from Bring Forth’s growing creative community. Together, these projects reflect the organization’s commitment to music as a source of healing and transformation.
